About Us

Thought Garden is dedicated to helping people transform difficult thoughts and emotions through Christ-centered mindfulness resources.

About Laura

Laura Jenkins is a Christian counselor, teacher, and author of Thought Garden. Born from her own experiences, Thought Garden is a guide that women, teens, kids, and some men are using to create kinder, deeper relationships with God as they overcome difficult thoughts and emotions. In today’s world, it’s easy to become distracted and disconnected. Although mindfulness has been proven beneficial, most available resources aren’t Christ-centered. Laura prayerfully asked God to help her create Christ-centered mindfulness resources using His word, and He did. She is grateful and honored for the opportunity to share Thought Garden with you and prays that it blesses you.

Laura lives outside Nashville, TN, with her husband and two children. She is available for speaking and teaching opportunities as her schedule allows and would love to connect with you!

About Kaitlin

Kaitlin is an artist, teacher, and counselor who has been instrumental in helping Thought Garden become what it is today. She is the illustrator of the Thought Garden Children’s book and Thought Garden, Teen Edition. Kaitlin has also implemented mindful art into several Thought Garden workshops and in-person events. Her art is a beautiful addition to Thought Garden, and we are excited to see how God will continue to use her talents to help people discover the beauty of mindfulness.

She resides in Lebanon, TN, with her husband and two children. Kaitlin is available to attend events with Laura and looks forward to meeting you.

About Emily

Emily is a social worker, writer, and digital marketer who has experienced firsthand how powerful mindfulness can be. She used self-compassion and mindfulness to help recover from her own mental health challenges but struggled because most resources available were secular. Emily is Laura’s sister and became Thought Garden’s biggest supporter the moment she first read it. Thought Garden is the resource she wished she had when she was 16 and needed help.

Emily is at work behind the scenes, creating our website, managing social media, and more! She lives with her husband and son in Evans, GA. She desires to help spread Christ-centered mindfulness to everyone who feels hopeless like she once did.

Mindfulness is a beautiful way to transform difficult thoughts and emotions while building a deeper relationship with God.

If you are struggling, you are not alone. There is Hope.
